Project needs
To replace an old wooden structure with a new made-to-measure shade solution, composed of a bioclimatic pergola and a folding arm awning installed by the swimming pool.
Given the unique characteristics of the residence, the owners were looking for a combination of cutting-edge products that combine functionality and prestige.
Project features
Nestled in the lush greenery of Emirates Hills – known as the Beverly Hills of Dubai – this private villa with a swimming pool has a very large garden, in which all the elements are skillfully combined to create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. A low wall and glass panels border the raised swimming pool, which is surrounded by palm trees and other vegetation. Originally there was an old wooden pergola, which the owners decided to replace with a more luxurious product. Given their specific needs, the owners chose to combine the bioclimatic Twist pergola and a Segno folding arm awning, the latter being installed directly on the front edge of the new structure, on the short side facing the swimming pool. To create this special configuration, it was necessary to add two legs to the pergola in order to support the weight of the awning.
