The owners of this house in Vipacco, Slovenia wanted to add a covering to protect the large glass doors overlooking the garden from the sun and, at the same time, they wanted to shelter the front outdoor area consisting of a granite floor and bordered with pebbles.
The particular characteristic of this house is its projecting roof that juts a few meters from the walls and partially shades the outdoor surface. The initial idea was to find a fast solution that both fit the peculiar shape of the house and matched the aesthetics. But, above all, the selected product should work as a bioclimatic cover in ever season and a protection from the dazzling sun in the summer.
They chose the Joy leaning version, the simpler version of Gibus bioclimatic pergolas, which fits all the sophisticated technological features of the range. Indeed, the pergola blades are completely automated and fit LED lighting. On the front side of the pergola, they installed Click Zip 11, a vertical drop awning with Fabriscreen fabric for sunlight protection when it is low on the horizon.
The project has a strong character and completes the front of the house but, above all, it increases the opportunities to enjoy the outdoor area and the management of daylighting.
