Situated on the seafront in Caorle and facing the town bell tower, Stellamare Beach Hotel marks the separation between the driveway and the pedestrian area and so it is in a very visible spot where many people pass-by. That is why Eugenio, the owner, wanted the renovation of the ground floor terrace to have a great architectonic impact.
Originally, the terrace was repaired by a steel structure with a shading fabric cover, but this solution was no longer adequate and comfortable for the hotel guests. Therefore, to guarantee the best sun protection as well as bad weather protection, the owner decided to install Twist, the bioclimatic pergola equipped with Click Zip 13 vertical drop awnings, to close the sides of the perimeter.
Twist was also chosen because of the desire for a more modern terrace that would match the theme of the hotel’s rooms and inner environments, namely a “total white” choice that characterizes the whole structure. Therefore, the 8 Gibus bioclimatic pergolas painted in white were the perfect choice to re-create the same chromatic harmony even outdoors. White is also in the flooring, both indoors and outdoors, to maintain an effect of continuity.
The hotel owner is extremely attentive to details and Gibus’ capability to meet his needs was one of our strong points. The project started with a painstaking project by Gibus and the Atelier More Space store in San Vendemiano (TV). Our synergic work allowed to successfully plan and design the complex system of brackets that could ensure the same height of all structures as the different inclines of the floors made this result particularly hard to achieve.
The owner was extremely satisfied with the result and the hotel guests greatly appreciated the new outdoor area that offers 60 seats in absolute comfort. The Atelier More Space was very satisfied too as they were able to achieve successfully a complex and valuable project.
